Writing an ad that gets readers to notice and then take action requires some thought and creativity. It is essentially one of the hardest writing jobs available. In order to write effective ad copy you must be able to grab the reader’s attention and then get them to follow through by signing up for your newsletter, joining your website, or buying your product. This is a pretty tall order. There are thousands of ads on the Internet; ads are on just about every webpage and on every website, and in order to write effective ad copy you must be able to make your ad stand out from the rest.

Begin by asking yourself who is your audience? Knowing your audience and to whom you are targeting your ad is key to any successful ad copy. You need to be able to write an ad using the words your targeted audience uses. You need to know how to have a conversation with your audience that they find relatable and personable. Writing an ad that elicits emotion and then gives readers an easy to follow call to action has proven to be efficient and get conversions.

1. Research your target audience. Researching your audience and learning everything you can about them will allow you to write much more effective ads. Knowing what inspires and motivates yours readers is essential in creating an ad that will get clicks. Different people use completely different words when searching for the same exact thing. If you want to write great ad copy that converts you must truly be bale to connect with your audience.

Find out what it is your target audience thinks about, how they feel, and what their needs are. If you know what your audience needs than you can give them something useful. Knowing how they think and feel is extremely important because it will allow you to write an ad that gets their attention. While researching your targeted audience keep a list of words and phrases that they use frequently to express themselves and their desires.

Social media is perfect for researching a target audience. After all, millions of people are using Facebook and Twitter right now talking about what interests them and posting their thoughts and feelings on particular issues. Be sure that the language you choose does not sound condescending in any way and that your ad is not annoying. People are annoyed by pop ups and tricks. Be honest about what you are selling when writing ad copy.

2. Understand the extreme importance of your headline. Your headline is your first chance to grab a reader’s attention. Think about how many other ads will be on any given page with your ad. Not to mention the website’s content all competing for the reader’s attention. How do you make yourself stand out from the rest? Appointments – Manage Your Time Better At Home to Be Effective

What would happen to you if your home life was more organized than it is right now? Can work-life balance be achieved? What are the tools at our disposal? Could scheduling appointments and keeping them at home help us save time and prioritize?

What is the challenge we face? I sometimes find that time spent at home can be the busiest time, especially in the times we live in. Imagine someone working from home, home-schooling children, and sometimes even doing a side hustle. Imagine also the full-time home-based entrepreneur. How do they manage to do all they need to do in a day?. We are living in a time when many entrepreneurs and even company employees have adopted work- at – home culture. This comes with its challenges as the lines become blurred between home and work. These blurred lines and constraints on the limited resource called time result in over-worked, under-rested, burnt-out individuals. Whilst good time management has been encouraged and indeed, embraced in the workplace, I believe more needs to be done in changing the mindset for the elusive work-life balance to be achieved.

What are the tools at our disposal? To manage time effectively at home, there are many interventions one can employ including setting goals for the day, prioritizing wisely, setting a time limit for every task, organizing oneself, and instituting the discipline of appointments. Yes, an appointment at home! We can spend time pontificating on the pros and cons of each intervention, however, I believe we need to focus on appointments and see how this can powerfully change the course of one’s day regardless of whether it’s a workday or weekend. Life is busy as it is without any intrusions. The question is how do you handle the one who announces that they are at the gate. These can be friends, neighbors, a salesman of some product you do not even need. I am not promoting regimentation here but rather a culture of filling your day with what’s important. Everything that we succeed at is because we carefully plan and execute it. I am a firm believer that you cannot manage time if you do not manage yourself thus I implore you to incorporate planning and appointments into your repertoire. I am not talking about something I do not do. I have to achieve many things in a day therefore I set appointments with my work, others, and myself.

Could scheduling appointments and keeping them on the home front help us save time and prioritize? Whereas we have established that it is a normal business practice to set appointments and keep them, we need to abandon the liberal open-door policy of allowing all and sundry to have access to us as and when they please on the home front. Please understand where I am coming from. We each have greatness within us but for us to achieve it we need to culture great habits. Employing the use of appointments at home and seeing only those people you had agreed to see removes non-essential encounters especially during the most productive hours. I know this will vary with culture, geographical region, or even level of affluence, whether you live in a low density or high-density residential area, but doesn’t negate the need to be organized and effective. Controlling access determines how organized you are and how well you will work and rest when the time for scheduled rest comes.

What do we need to do differently? We need to be disciplined and diligent, learn to say no, now is not a good time, let’s make an appointment for next week. What are the benefits of this approach? You are not always fire-fighting to meet deadlines, You are not always tired because you have not taken time out to rest. You have set aside enough time to spend with your loved ones or a loved one. If you are a busy person, I am sure you appreciate what I am saying. Whether it’s time to work uninterrupted, family time, or “me-time”, it takes some kind of order to enjoy it.

I am not saying that those that come unannounced are bad people. No, not at all, they probably are people you enjoy spending time with. Nevertheless, there must be prior communication so that you can attend to your visitor(s) when it is convenient for both you and them. It can be quite disrupting and a whole day can just pass by without achieving anything that you had planned to do.

As we grow older we begin to appreciate that rest and recovery need to be scheduled. The fact that I am relaxing doesn’t mean that I don’t have anything to do. One therefore cannot assume that just because you are at home you are available. Maybe you have scheduled that time to rest. That is important. You need to make an appointment with yourself, spouses need to also set aside time for each other. Parents need to schedule a time to spend with their children. When you have some sort of order in your life you determine who sees you and who you see. It also means that your relationships will be healthy and that makes you a happier person.

In conclusion, I believe that the work-life balance can be achieved. There are many tools at our disposal just like it is in the workplace.I believe we could do more and be happier if we are disciplined enough to make only the commitments we can keep.I am certain that setting appointments and keeping them at home help us save time and prioritize.

Using A SEO Directory to Promote a Website

In order to run a successful search engine marketing campaign, incoming links are seen as the most significant aspect. It is known that if you are able to gain the right high-quality links, it will make it much easier to rank a website higher in the natural searches results. A wide range of linking practices are available, some more beneficial than others. One of the easiest techniques for acquiring high quality one way links is to use the general or niche specific SEO directory websites.

There are literally thousands of web directories across the internet offering the opportunity to publish a link, which directs back to your website. Directories might range from the general, which accept any type of website, the niche specific directories, and the business directories. Each of these directory types will have their own target audience, so it is important to choose the one that will be most beneficial for your needs.

Also, web directories are either free-based or incorporate a payment structure for the submission process. Fees can range from a nominal one-time payment to those charging several hundred dollars or more. A recurring monthly or yearly fee might also be applicable. The choice of web directory used often comes down to your marketing strategy and available budget.

A high-quality and human edited paid directory can often be highly beneficial to any website to get listed on. If looking at the more expensive web directories, such as the Yahoo Directory for instance, it often helps to look at the long-term benefits that may be gained. Mostly from having your site listed on a highly trafficked site. Paid listings are also seen to offer significant SEO benefits in the search engines.

Submitting a website to a handful of quality free-based Web directories is also an effective step in getting a website well indexed and also to boost a sites ranking position in the natural search results. Even though the search engines might not give so much emphasis on the free directory listings, you still benefit from the incoming links. Also, if the general or niche specific directories have sufficient traffic, then some of that traffic might make its way to your site by clicking on your well thought out link and description.

All in all, submitting a website to these online directories, whether paid or free, offers an excellent opportunity to increase the success of your search engine marketing campaign. Instead of submitting to just one or two well-chosen SEO directories, aim to submit to several web directories over a prolonged period to really see the benefits.

Cost Per Action Marketing On Craigslist

Marketing on Craigslist has increased in popularity in recent years. It looks like it’s starting to peak out because of the confusion of working with the uncertainty of Craigslist. The classified site is a great place to promote cost per action programs because you have so many different categories and sub-categories to choose from on there. However, there are some things that need to be pointed out as you are promoting CPA programs on Craigslist.

First of all, you really need to make sure you are promoting the right program in the right Craigslist category. If it’s not in the right place that will get you flagged alone. Therefore, no matter what the program is all about before you just slap it anywhere thinking the title of the program looks appealing.

Before you even start promoting though, set up an account and verify it with your phone number. You can verify multiple accounts if you know multiple people who will allow you to use their phone number for Craigslist verification.

Verifying your account will enable you to post your ads more smoothly and also decrease the likelihood of Craigslist flagging or ghosting your ad.

What you never want to do is just slap the affiliate link right into the ad. You need to make sure you have a blog, website or some sort of splash page to transition people to your affiliate link because you will be flagged in a hear beat.

Now if you are going to use your affiliate link, at least use it as an anchor text. You can Google HTML anchor text codes to learn how to use it on Craigslist. Or you can look through the Craigslist forum and find the code in there as well.

You can also use images in the ad and link it to the affiliate link you are promoting. If you are going to go this route just make sure you are not committing trademark infringements or if the image is inappropriate for the ad. For example, you don’t want to grab an image of a tomato if you are placing an ad in the garage sale section. Find an image that is related to the CPA program you are promoting so you can make things look a little more uniform.

Overall, Craigslist is a good site to promote on if you know what to expect and how to stay on their good side during the submission process.
